The SPORTident Station BSF9 has been completely redesigned inside and out. The BSF9 has new, multifunctional housing and distinguishes itself with significantly improved environmental properties, with many options for theft protection (with SPORTiden Security lock) as well as further simplified handling. These features have been achieved without giving up the usual such as multifunctionality, water resistance, robustness, and of course full compatibility with the existing SPORTident system.

The BSF9 can be configured in all known operating modes. It supports classic punching and AIR+ mode. The most visible change is the completely redesigned housing that fits easily on the mounting holder of the BS8 (small and plate) and features a control display that is always visible. The new housing is sealed with only screws, without the need of any sealing material, which simplifies maintenance and further improves sustainability

The station's ground plate is mounted by using four screws. The use of a silicon-like sealant becomes obsolete. In addition, the hole is no longer continuous, which eliminates a sealing point. This is not only more sustainable and environmentally friendly but also makes it easier to service the station in case of needs. The typical service case is stationed battery exchange after some years of operation.The new housing is extremely stable and robust. It fits into the mounting plate so far offered for the BSx8. In addition, there are four mounting holes. This enables a direct mounting of the station for permanent and semi-permanent fixed control stations as well as the usage of fixings for anti-theft purposes.

Station BSF9 always comes with a status/service display on top. The readability of the LCD is improved by using a new background contrast color. Other improvements are the LED for optical feedback signals. The LEDs are now placed round about the punching hole and cannot be covered by the athlete’s hand.

By functionality, the station BSF9 is fully equivalent to the BSF8. It can be configured in all operating modes. It supports classic punching and contactless AIR+ mode.
